Building a product is a marathon. We’re constantly tweaking the platform to make event planning a breeze and help those good post-party vibes last longer. Here’s a quick dev diary update on our newest communication tools and some routine under-the-hood maintenance.

The Guestbook: A Space for Post-Party Impressions

The party might be over, but the memories stick around. Previously, post-event thank-yous would just get scattered and lost in your DMs. That’s why we built the Guestbook.

This feature unlocks right after your event wraps up. Guests can jump back onto the event page to leave a review, drop a quick thank-you to the host, or just share their favorite moments from the party. It pulls all those comments into one place, turning your event page into a digital memory board you’ll actually want to revisit.

Email Reminders: Full Control for the Host

Playing “human alarm clock” for your invitees is nobody’s idea of a good time, but rigid automation doesn’t always hit the mark either. That’s why we made email reminders flexible—the send button stays entirely in the host’s hands.

You decide exactly when it makes sense to reach out:

• A week before: The perfect time to gently nudge guests who forgot to RSVP.
• A day before: The final check-in with the exact time and location so nobody gets lost.

And don’t worry, the core sharing features haven’t gone anywhere. You can still easily drop your digital invite link into your favorite group chats or messaging apps whenever you want.

Under the Hood: Stability and Bug Fixes

Shiny new features are great, but a lot of our real work happens behind the scenes. We just wrapped up some routine refactoring and squashed a few minor bugs. Nothing drastic, but the interface feels snappier, and the platform is running smoother and more reliably than ever.
